To ensure that our puppies are ready for their new homes, we utilize early neurological stimulation, early Scent Introduction and follow the Puppy Culture protocol. Our emphasis on enrichment and socialization helps them develop into well-rounded and confident adults.

Our pet care strategy involves various methods to ensure their overall health and happiness. This includes routine nail trimming, early socialization to help them adjust to new surroundings, teaching them basic commands, gradually introducing them to household routines, providing early neurological stimulation for optimal growth, starting at 3 days of age we introduce sensory stimulations to different types of smells.

We introduce a new scent daily. This early brain training accelerates development. It kickstarts the olfactory and neurological systems. The advantages have been noted in young dogs that underwent the Bio Sensor stimulation activities: Enhanced cardiovascular function, robust heartbeats, robust adrenal glands, increased stress tolerance, enhanced immunity to illnesses. Puppies that received stimulation are livelier and more curious, displaying less agitation or distress during basic problem-solving assessments. Moreover, we emphasize potty and kennel training to establish good habits and maintain a clean-living environment.

Additionally, our puppies are Introduced to car rides and handled daily for confidence building. Raised with love in a family environment (not kennel) to ensure a smooth transition to their new homes.

Health

Our efforts to ensure the health of the puppies are extensive, but it is important to acknowledge that we cannot predict or control any health issues that may arise throughout their lives, as they are living beings.

Security

The safety and well-being of our adorable pups is our primary concern; we have put in place a comprehensive video security camera system throughout our residence. This advanced system is designed to cover all the critical areas, including the puppy playroom and nursery, allowing us to closely monitor our pups every day, all day.

Before going home

Before puppies are ready to leave for their new homes, they undergo a thorough health examination to ensure their well-being. This comprehensive check-up includes various tests and assessments to ensure that the puppies are in optimal health. Additionally, they are dewormed and receive the necessary immunizations to protect them from common diseases and infections before they embark on their new journey with their new families.

Health Guarantee

Health

To maintain the validity of the guarantee, the buyer must have a licensed veterinarian perform a thorough examination of the puppy within 72 hours of its arrival at the new home. It is essential that the seller is informed of the examination results promptly, either via email or phone. Please note that failure to meet these requirements will result in the cancellation of the guarantee.



The Doberman puppy you will receive has undergone a comprehensive health examination by our veterinarian and has received all necessary vaccinations. Additionally, the puppy has been dewormed to ensure its well-being. We guarantee that our puppies are in excellent health and free from any infections or contagious diseases before joining their new families.

Moreover, we offer a 12-month guarantee that the puppy is free from any life-threatening genetic defects. In the unfortunate event that the puppy passes away within this period due to an inherited genetic defect, we will replace the puppy in accordance with the conditions outlined below. Please be aware that we cannot provide further guarantees, as unforeseen circumstances can arise with live animals.

If a puppy displays any significant genetic or congenital abnormality, the following procedure will be implemented: The defect must be apparent within the first 12 months of the puppy's life. The buyer is required to notify the seller of the issue within two business days of the licensed veterinarian's diagnosis and must provide two separate reports from unrelated veterinarians confirming the same problem.

Once a replacement puppy of equal value becomes available, the seller will provide it to the buyer. If a puppy is diagnosed with a defect, the buyer may choose to return the puppy or, with the seller's permission, have it euthanized at their own expense in order to qualify for a replacement. Please note that no partial or full refunds will be issued.

2. If the puppy passes away within the 12-month period, the Buyer is responsible for covering the costs of an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Should the autopsy reveal a congenital issue, the Seller will promptly provide a replacement puppy as soon as one becomes available. Please note that we can only offer a replacement when one of our female dogs has a litter of five puppies or more. If the litter is smaller than that, you will need to wait until one of our females produces a sufficient number of puppies.

3.Providing a lifetime guarantee for living animals is not feasible. Instead, we offer a genetics guarantee for up to one year of age. Our breeding pairs undergo thorough evaluations and specific health checks to ensure that both parents are healthy and have passed all necessary assessments before producing quality puppies.

We take great care in selecting the right breeding pairs; however, it is important to note that even if both parents are free from health issues and have normal X-rays, there is no guarantee that all puppies in the litter will be free from problems. Many factors contribute to this uncertainty. Unfortunately, our guarantee does not cover conditions such as hip dysplasia, elbow issues, ligament injuries, or complications related to joint disorders, including OCD (Osteochondritis Dissecans), the cause of which remains unknown. Additionally, various challenges may arise due to external factors beyond our control.


Certain disorders can arise from environmental factors. These include allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, entropion, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions that fall outside the scope of this guarantee.

Conditions such as coccidia-parvovirus and Kennel Cough are not covered by this guarantee. These issues are often seen in puppies during shipping and are typically caused by bacterial infections. Kennel Cough, resembling a common cold, is a self-limiting illness that generally resolves on its own over time. Full recovery is expected, and Kennel Cough is not considered life-threatening. Additionally, puppy vaginitis is not covered, as it is quite common in female puppies and usually resolves without intervention.

This health guarantee does not cover any neglect, improper care, or lack of maintenance of the dog by the new owner.


4. Under this guarantee, only replacement is offered. Refund is not provided.

5. The seller disclaims any responsibility for medical expenses that may arise. The buyer acknowledges that owning a Doberman puppy requires regular veterinary visits and agrees to assume all financial responsibilities associated with such care.

6. We provide pet companion puppies without registration papers, and it is mandatory for them to be spayed or neutered before they reach 18 months of age.

7. We will offer a replacement puppy once we have a litter of four or more. The replacement will be selected collaboratively, ensuring that it shares comparable qualities with the original puppy. Please note that the replacement puppy may not be from the same parents as the original.

8. This guarantee is limited to the original buyer and is non-transferable to any other individual or owner.

9. The buyer agrees never to abandon or surrender the puppy to an animal shelter, rescue group, or similar facility without first attempting to contact the seller/breeder to explore alternative arrangements. If, for any reason, the buyer cannot provide a safe and secure home for the dog, they agree to make every effort to return the dog to the seller/breeder, if possible, so that a suitable home can be found. In the case of a registerable puppy, ownership will be transferred back to the seller/breeder, and health and vaccination records will be provided upon the puppy's return.

10. The buyer confirms their understanding of this contract in its entirety and acknowledges that it is governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts.

Our Dobermans health

Health testing is not a magical shield: 

It is a tool of risk management. By utilizing top-tier specialists, we significantly stack the deck in favor of health, structure, and longevity, giving your future puppy the absolute best biological head start possible. We breed with strict intention, deep integrity, and realistic respect for nature. We take a proactive, medical-first approach to the health of our Dobermans.

Most of our dobermans health documents are listed right under each of our dogs individual profiles; however, not all of it is accessible due to privacy concerns, some documents are still being processed or are pending appointments .

In addition you will not find our Dobermans tied to public registry databases. Frankly, we choose to bypass the administrative bureaucracy and rigid, subjective nitpicking of third-party organizations. Choosing not to follow the cookie-cutter administrative rules of a public database does not mean our dogs are missing vital health screenings. In fact, our testing is exceptionally rigorous, comprehensive, and up to date.

Complete Specialist Cardiac Clearance:

We work directly with a board-certified veterinary cardiologist. Every dog has just completed a comprehensive heart screening including a full echocardiogram , auscultation and NT-proBNP cardiac cardiac blood , with all current resuts ranking completly normal. 

Independent Orthopedic Evaluation:

Our doberman hip and elbows are evaluated by OFA and by a independent board-certified Orthopedic radiologists.

Specialist Eye Care: 

Our dogs see a dedicated veterinary ophthalmologist for genetic ocular health.

Comprehensive DNA Profiling:

All breed - relevant genetic health testing is completed and through GenSol Diagnostics.

Annual test and Pre-breeding 

We do not subject our dogs to unnecessary full-panel laboratory mail-ins, as this creates redundant paperwork, especially when all results are normal from our in-house lab and Idexx. Regarding thyroid care, we conduct annual thyroid function tests in-house with our primary veterinarian, and we may test up to twice a year prior to a planned breeding. To ensure comprehensive internal health, we include a complete blood count (CBC), comprehensive liver and full kidney profiles. Additionally, we perform routine urinalysis, stool samples and parasites examinations twice a year. We also test for heartworm and lyme disease.

The breeding dam or pair

Our Dobermans undergo comprehensive evaluations throughout the year, especially prior to breeding. This includes a detailed semen analysis and a complete cytological examination for the dam.

When selecting a male from outside our own breeding program, we require that he is fully up to date on all health checks and has undergone all relevant breed testing.

Please be aware that although we provide an overview of our health clearances on each Doberman profile, we do not post every individual laboratory document or diagnostic sheet on our website. These records remain a permanent part of our confidential veterinary files.

Rest assured, our dogs undergo thorough vetting and are fully up to date on all medical requirements, adhering to the highest standards of care. However, please note that our detailed clinical paperwork remains confidential, shared only between us and our veterinary specialists.

The Reality of Biology:

Our Commitment vs. Genetic Probability. At MaxBaronDobermans we spare no expense or effort when it comes to the comprehensive health screening of our dogs.

However, we believe in absolute transparency with our puppy families: no amount of health testing can ever serve as a 100% guarantee against health issues, genetics, environmental factors, and biological variation mean that even when parents have cleared advanced heart screenings, hip evaluations, and clear DNA panels, conditions like Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), hip dysplasia, or other illnesses can still emerge.
